A few testimonials from our Mums
“I’m feeling stronger, thinner and much fitter!”
“I started going to Bay City Stroller sessions when my son was 6 weeks old. I found the exercise challenging, but I’ve improved quickly and now 8 weeks later I’m feeling stronger, thinner and much fitter. The outdoor settings and opportunity to meet other mums were great motivators to get out of the lounge room, even when I was tired from interrupted sleep and breastfeeding.
I get an hour off from being “Ryan’s mum” and one step closer to getting my body back to how it used to be.
For me, Bay City Strollers and my Mother’s Group have kept the baby blues away”
“I am lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight!”
Being fit was very important to me before and during my pregnancy, so shortly after having my daughter I wanted to find a way of getting back into shape.
I was so pleased when I found that you offered fitness classes where babies were welcome. So, as soon as I was able to start exercising again I tried out a class at Williamstown and loved it. Bay City Strollers is so understanding of mums and their needs – so whenever you need to tend to your baby you can. It quickly became part of our morning routine, which was great for both my daughter and I.
The instructors were fantastic. I remember in the first classes being barely able to run and finding it incredibly hard to do basic squats or step ups. By the time my daughter was 8 months old, I was as fit as I’d ever been and a couple kilos lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight!
Perhaps most importantly, we always had a lot of fun. It was great to meet other motivated mums and enjoy some fantastic scenery around the beach and gardens of Williamstown.
“… the fresh air, new environment and company keeps bub happy”
I have recently discovered Bay City Strollers. It is an exercise class for parents and bubs run by personal trainers in various parks throughout Melbourne. Finn and I both love being outdoors and it’s great to meet other parents and get out of the house. The babies have fun having a kick together on the grass and the toddlers join in. If your bub likes to scream no-one minds but usually the fresh air, new environment and company keeps bub happy anyway. After all that exercise, it’s a great excuse for a post-workout coffee!
“I have recommended to my mother’s group to give it a go”
I think this is a great idea! Baby and mum friendly, lots of training times and locations and very experienced personal trainers. I have recommended to my mother’s group to give it a go 🙂
